Macadamia Nut Oil
You can travel the world over, and not find a more perfect cooking oil than Macadamia Nut Oil. Its naturally high smoke point (400-450 degrees Fahrenheit) allows for excellent cooking versatility, and even helps reduce the production of trans fatty acids.
To ensure quality and purity, Nut Hawai'i Macadamia Nut Oil uses only unrefined, unhybridized macadamias. These organically grown nuts are superior in quality and account for its unique nutritional profile.
At 81% monounsaturated fat, 2% polyunsaturated fat and an incredibly low 2.2 grams of saturated fat, Nut Hawai'i Macadamia Nut Oil has one of the healthiest unsaturated to saturated fat ratios, even greater than that of olive oil.
To retain the naturally occurring vitamins and enzymes, we rely on an expeller press and double filtration process. This, coupled with its delicious nutty flavor, makes Macadamia Nut Oil the perfect complement to chicken, fish, vegetables, stir fry and salad dressings.

The kernel contains Vitamins A1, B1, B2, Niacin and essential elements such as Calcium, Iron, Phosphorus, Magnesium and Potassium.
A diet enriched by macadamias actually lowered harmful blood cholesterol in participating patients. The research concluded that eating 6-20 pieces of macadamia nuts per day actually lowered harmful blood cholesterol by 7% and triglycerides by 25%, when compared with a high complex carbohydrate diet.
An increased blood cholesterol level is still considered one of the major risk factors in the development of cardiovascular disease. It is recognised that one of the dietary factors contributing most to an increased blood cholesterol level is the type of dietary fat consumed.
A high intake of saturated fat, typical Western diet, contributes to increased blood cholesterol while a higher proportion of monounsaturated and poly-unsaturated fats, such as fats in Macadamias, appears to protect against cardiovascular disease by lowering total cholesterol and increasing the HDL-cholesterol, i.e. good cholesterol.
