Our orchard 'Uttarakura', named after a continent called 'divpa' in ancient Hindu and Buddhist mythology, depicts a fairy land and the ultimate abode of the blessed souls, or simply the 'Heaven'.
It locates at the east side the Big Island, just upland from the last 120 mile stretch of undeveloped coastline in Hawaii, total 20 acres, non-commercial agricultural land.
We are dedicated in organic cultivation, specializing in macadamia nuts, for more than two decades. We use NO chemical and genetic modified fertilizers or pesticides on all our plantations. Our products are relatively expansive due to low productivity, compared to established, commercial crop processors on the Big Island. However, our products are well known to the local market, particularly our finicky yet loyal customers on food safety and taste.
Currently we are in process of developing another 35+ acres of native agricultural land adjacent to ours, to be completed by later this year. The membership program we launch in August and we will apply the exact same organic practice to turn this virgin land to your exclusive orchard -- to produce the macadamia nuts for your own consumption ONLY.
We are also in negotiation process on another 48 acres Hamakua Coast of the north of the Big Island. It is still in early stage but definitely another healthy growth of our practice.
